Slow Food East End is an all-volunteer chapter of Slow Food USA. We are members of Slow Food, a global, grassroots organization founded in 1989 in Italy. Since its beginnings, Slow Food has grown into a global movement involving millions of people in over 160 countries, working to ensure everyone has access to good, clean, and fair food.

We seek to create dramatic and lasting influence in our food system. Slow Food East End connects communities on the East End with the people, traditions, plants, animals, fertile soils, and waters that create our food. We encourage individuals and communities to work with us to nourish the East End of Long Island by supporting our mission.

5th Annual Earth Day Sponsorship

Slow Food East End is excited to host our 5th Annual Earth Day Celebration, a community gathering that brings together local farmers, food producers, artisans, environmental organizations, and neighbors to celebrate sustainable food and the land that nourishes us.

Each year, this event continues to grow, creating a meaningful opportunity for people to connect around the values of good, clean, and fair food.

Your donation goes directly to support our Feed the Forks programming. With your support we have already distributed dozens and dozens of loaves of freshly baked bread to food pantries across the East End, brought our Master Gardeners into school gardens, hosted events to gather and celebrate our local chefs, farmers, and so much more. We hope to continue to grow and to continue to nourish our community. Your donation helps make this possible.
