Paumonak Riesling Picked for Wall Street Journal’s “Luxury Dozen”

May 17, 2012 in Past Events

The Wine Press magazine, published by Times Review papers, reports that the Wall Street Journal chose Paumanok vineyard’s 2010 Semi-Dry Riesling as one of the “luxury dozen,” making it one of the top 12 bottles of wine in the nation out of 800-bottles entered in a blind judging.

Paumonak is an estate winery in Aquboque and the semi-dry riesling is the work of Kareem Massoud. Kareem’s mother Ursula was a founding member of SFEE. She and her husband, Charles Massoud graciously opened their tasting room and deck for many Slow Food events.

Congratulations Kareem and Paumonak!
